How laser hair removal works
Laser uses controlled light energy to heat the hair follicle. Hair in the active growth phase responds best, which is why sessions are spaced — to catch more hairs in the right phase over time.
What “results” really mean
Most people achieve significant long-term reduction, not necessarily 100% permanent removal. Fine, very light, or hormonal hair can be more resistant and may require maintenance. Hair can look “unchanged” for ~1–2 weeks, then sheds — shedding is expected, it’s not immediate removal.

- Shave 12–24 hours before (do not wax/thread/epilate)
- Avoid sun/tanning on the area (ideally 1–2 weeks)
- Avoid acids/retinoids on facial areas for several days (as advised)

Day of treatment Tap
- Come with clean skin (no oils, deodorant, makeup, or perfume on the area)
- Protective eyewear is used and settings are selected for your skin + hair
- Cooling improves comfort during pulses
- Redness/follicular swelling can happen and usually settles
Aftercare Tap
- Avoid hot showers/sauna/gym for 24 hours if sensitive
- SPF daily on treated exposed areas
- No scrubbing/exfoliation for a few days
- If prone to irritation: use a bland soothing moisturiser as advised
- Avoid tanning until the skin is fully calm
If blistering, prolonged swelling, increasing pain, or dark patches occur — contact the clinic promptly.
